Principal Message | Matthew O'Brien
I am looking forward to attending the National Catholic Education Conference in Cairns this week and will be absent from school all week. Pat is also away for the next two weeks. As we are both away I have invited Elise to take on the daily organisation and behavioural follow up for the next two weeks. I hope that the planned closure day is a huge success and that you get some exciting and practical ideas to work on with your kids.
Preliminary Review Priorities
Thanks everyone for your thoughts and participation in our review process. It is coming to a close in the next two weeks. There will be an outline of the two days in next week’s memo. Here are the priorities for your perusal. I hope that they capture our conversations.
People and Organisation | Pat Allen
In my absence, Elise will be the contact for all matters that I would usually manage. Her contact details are 0437 612 230.
The Year 3 boys are not playing football until further notice til they have had a meeting to find a way forwards to play together appropriately. If you are on oval duty, please be aware of this.

DIBELS
On Wednesday & Thursday of week 4 I completed a DIBELS data dive with Breeana. Can I please join teams this week to discuss the findings, to touch base with teams and to go over a few more agenda items.
Staff Meeting: Online Literacy Module, Whole School Reflection Document, Year Level Implementation Plans (roadmaps)
Where to complete: In the learning leader’s classroom. Non classroom teaching staff please join a team.
1. Watch Online Literacy Module
Module - Summarising (25 mins)
2. Discuss Whole School Reflection Document
On completion in your teams please look over what is called a Progress Journal created by DOBCEL. This is essentially a tracking tool for us to utilise. Please discuss the tabs ‘Phase A and Phase B’ and email me if you have any questions or suggestions for changes, or simply that you are happy with what is there.
3. Based on our SL closure days, Online Modules and the ‘Progress Journal’ please reflect on a focus for Term 3 in your implementation plans. You may still need to work on Term 2s.
