Tennis District competition
Congratulations to the students who will represent St. Josephs at the District Tennis Tournament on Monday 22nd February at the Supergrasse Tennis Complex. The students will play off in a round robin tournament against students from around our district. The top two boys, and top two girls will go through to represent the district at the Division Tennis Tournament held on the 5th March, at the Warrnambool Lawn Tennis Club.

Division Lawn Bowls Competition
We would like to wish our Lawn Bowling team and their coach, Mr Guinan, best of luck at the Division Lawn Bowls Competition this Wednesday 24th February, 2021. The team have been training hard and I am sure they are more than ready to represent our school on the green.

Year 4 Hockey Roadshow Clinic
We are excited to welcome the Hockey Victoria Roadshow to our school this Wednesday 24th February, 2021! Please remind your Year 4 children to come to school dressed in their Sports Uniform on this day.
The Year 4 Students are being given the fantastic opportunity to try out the exciting game of hockey! They will learn the skills of the game through exciting game-based activities suited to every year level and ability.
Hockey Victoria will be sending their amazing Participation Officers to our school to provide an engaging, fun, and safe hockey experience for everyone. At Hockey Victoria they pride themselves in providing an enjoyable experience for every student, so keep an eye out and see if you can spot one of their coaches at school soon!
If you enjoy the sessions during school, you can continue with your hockey experience by joining a local Hookin2Hockey program www.hookin2hockey.com.au. With programs all over the state you can find a local program that will suit your schedule.
Swimming
A reminder that our Swimming Trials for the Division Team will take place at Aquazone next Monday 1st March, from 9:30am - 1:30pm. We are seeking at least 4 volunteers, with a current Working With Children Check, who might be attending the day to help up one end of the pool to ensure the day goes smoothly.
