The Walk to School Day on Friday 30th October was an amazing success. Despite the cold morning, we had an awesome 571 students participate on the day. This meant 82.7% of all students walked, rode or caught the bus to school. Out of all the students who travelled, 316 students walked, 149 rode and 7 caught a bus to school. Thanks to the Healthy Moves Ambassadors who promoted the day to all the classes at St Joseph’s.

Many students received drink bottles as prizes. The winner of the bike helmet was Sophie Ierodiaconou.

Now that the weather is improving, we would like to see the numbers stay at this level. Also, if you walk and ride, you can go out any exit you want!
