LIBRARY NEWS
Hello everyone and a big welcome back from the Library staff.
Thanks to all students and parents for your support and patience with borrowing and returning books over a very unusual and difficult time.
Over this term some changes have happened within the Library. With sadness but grateful hearts we say farewell to Kath King as she has retired from teaching. We were incredibly lucky to have her working in the Library over the last 12 years.
The Foundation and Junior Library lessons will continue with the following adjustments.
We welcome to our Library team Emily Lloyd, who will teach Wednesday’s lessons, Elise Smock, who will teach Tuesday’s lessons and Jo Barfus-McCoy who will teach on Mondays. It’s great to have them onboard.
We will be sending out overdue notices later next week, just as a reminder to check at home for any books. We have been going through the Fiction and Picture Story Books to check for any lost or misplaced books on our shelves and if everyone could check at home that would be so helpful. If anyone believes they have sent books back that are still on the list please send it back to the Library with the book titles marked.
New books have arrived in the library while we have been at home and they are going out faster than a speeding ... book!
