JAPANESE NEWS
On Friday 11th October, some Middle Japanese classes were lucky enough to have five Japanese high school students visit from Toyo High School in Shizouka. They are staying here in Warrnambool for 3 months, whilst attending Emmanuel College. The students’ names are Joh (boy) and girls Sumire, Momoka, Yui and Chia.
AIIU stands for Australian Institute of International Understanding and they are the organisation who facilitate this fantastic exchange program. We would like to extend our thanks to the three St Joseph’s families who are currently hosting a student at the moment.
The middle school students enjoyed introducing themselves and conducting a holiday survey in Japanese, followed by some Origami and games.
