Dear Parents, Guardians, Staff, Students and the wider St. Joseph’s Primary School Community,

Disco - Celebration (Who Let the Kids Out?)

    Disco.jpg

Thanks to everyone involved in the disco on Friday night. It was a wonderful celebration of our school community. The atmosphere was so positive and inclusive with the children dancing and enjoying themselves.  The smoke machine was a big hit that sent the junior disco into an uproar.

Thanks to the PSA (particularly Fiona) for all of their organisation which was super smooth and safe, also to the staff who supported the evening.  Thanks also to Josh who was our DJ for the event.

Congratulations to our disco poster competition winners Amali Greene, Cleo Coffey, Elouise Flett, Evie Bushell, Harry Baker, Hudson Moloney, Jackson Snell, Jayden D’Arma and Millie Hughson.

    New Playground

    Big news for us all.

The PSA has ordered our new senior playground after detailed planning and significant fundraising. This is an amazing achievement as the new school building has exhausted our loans.

The PSA team has run extra events, BBQs and applied to philanthropic organisations for community grants.

The playground includes a Ninja Course and a brand-new climbing spider web that is the largest that we can legally (safely) put in a primary school. All going well the playground will be installed in October.

    Arts Week/Book Week Dress Up

With such a busy term and the Arts Week/Book Week extravaganza assembly also falling on Father’s Day Breakfast there will be no Book Week Dress Up this year. Rather, all families are invited to join us at assembly to enjoy the musical performance by all children with our resident artist Jon Madin on Friday 5th September.
