Scholastic Book Club Delivery Update
I have been notified that there has been a delay with the delivery of our final Book Club orders. The order should arrive at school this week. If you want any of these purchases to remain a secret gift - then please email me so that I put the order in the Front Office for your collection. Thanks again for your support of this ‘bookish’ fundraiser!
Overdue notices
Thank you to those parents who were able to fill in the notes that went home a couple of weeks ago. It has helped us manage and locate many of the books that the Library Program may have missed. If you still have any of these notes at home - please fill them in accordingly and return them to your child’s classroom teacher.
Changeover period from the current Library Borrowing System
The St Joseph’s School Library has been using a program named ‘Destiny Follett’ for many years. We decided to look into other Library Programs to see how it compared, especially in light of our whole school transition to a structured literacy program in 2025. With this in mind, we have chosen to change over to ‘Oliver v.5’ this week! Therefore, your children will be unable to borrow books from Tuesday 19th November - Tuesday 26th November while the LRC staff are trained and the data has been transferred successfully. Students can still return any books to the trolleys and we will do our best to process these after Tuesday 26th November.
