PRINCIPAL'S MESSAGE
Matthew O'Brien, Principal
Dear Parents, Guardians, Staff, Students and the wider St. Joseph’s Primary School Community,
Litany of Remembrance
God of Compassion
In the rising of the sun and in its going down.
We remember them
In the blowing of the wind and in the chill of winter.
We remember them
In the blueness of the sky and in the warmth of the summer.
We remember them
In the rustling of the leaves and in the beauty of autumn.
We remember them
In the beginning of the year and when it ends.
We remember them
When we are lost and sick at heart.
We remember them
When we have joys we yearn to share.
We remember them
So long as we live, they too shall live.
We will remember them
Amen
Yesterday we gathered in the hall as a school community to show our respect to those men and women who have served Australia in the armed forces. Our service was led by Indie Smedts and Logan Jones from Year 6. Members of our school community also laid a wreath at the Shrine of Remembrance during the 11am service.
Lest We Forget
FOUNDATION 2025
This week begins an exciting tie for St Joseph’s as we welcome our 2025 Foundation students for their first formal visit to school. This induction visit gives them the chance to meet some of our staff and some other children as they get ready to start next year.
