As part of our Camps and Excursion program, the Year 2s enjoyed an extended day at school. 

The children were very excited to see everyone else leave school while they got to stay! After a little play and extra snacks we met as a whole group and following our Safety talk, separated into mixed groups. The children loved being with friends from other classrooms and getting to know new people from across the year level, while having a great time. Even though it was raining and miserable weather outside, we were having fun with activities like PMP, Boxing, Art and Cricket inside. We also got to explore areas of the school that we don’t normally see like the Senior Building and the Hall when it’s dark! The children are now ready looking forward to an overnight camp program next year and can be proud of coping with the dark and rain when the power went off!
