On Wednesday 1st November Year 2 classes all attended our parish mass. It was a beautiful morning for our first time walking to the Church. All Saints Day is a special day in the life of our church that begins the month of November when we remember those who have died.

We had prepared our own collages of 5 special Catholic Saints-Mary, Mother of Jesus, St Joseph, St Mary MacKillop, St Francis of Assisi and St Teresa of Calcutta which we carried in with Fr John. We held them up for everyone to see and placed them in front of the altar. We have learnt about these saints in our classrooms and prayed a Litany of Saints after leading the prayers of the faithful. We participated by joining in the responses and prayers, singing the hymns and taking up the bread and wine.

It was great to see so many parents, brothers and sisters and grandparents join with our parishioners to mark this important day.
