PRINCIPAL'S MESSAGE
Matthew O'Brien, Principal
Dear Parents, Guardians, Staff, Students and the wider St. Joseph’s Primary School Community,
Reflection
Make the Ordinary Come Alive
We do not have to strive to provide extraordinary experiences for our children.
Such striving may seem admirable, but it is a way of foolishness.
Help them instead to find the wonder and the marvel of an ordinary life.
Show them the joy of tasting tomatoes, apples and pears.
Show them how to cry when pets and people die.
Show them the infinite pleasure in the touch of a hand.
And make the ordinary come alive for them.
The extraordinary will take care of itself.
Holidays
I hope that everyone has a happy and safe holiday. The reflection above reminds me to just enjoy what I have with those around me. Warrnambool is such a beautiful place in Spring time.
Thanks to everyone for their efforts and contributions this term, particularly our staff. I would also like to acknowledge the joyful contribution that all of the children make to the positive atmosphere of St Josephs.
