Last Wednesday the children from Year 2 all travelled by bus to join the parishioners for mass at St. Joseph’s Church. We were joined by some of our parents, grandparents and friends.

We participated by singing, praying the Our Father, learning the responses and by listening to Fr. John’s homily. Patrick, Bridget, Millie, Archie, Eve and Max read the prayers of the faithful and  Lucas and Nancy took up the bread and wine.

Fr. John talked about Mary MacKillop’s Feast day and we returned to school inspired to be like Saint Mary of the Cross Mackillop.
