Last week as an introduction to Science Week, students attended the Mad Science Show in our school hall. The incursion was a science sampler to immerse students in science and whet their appetite. The show was all about air, electricity and fire! There were giant smoke vortices, levitating beach balls, flying toilet paper, hair-raising electricity and lots of learning! The show was full of demonstrations and included audience participation.
As the week progressed, so did the students' learning of science as they continued to engage in an array of science activities within their classrooms. Scientific curiosity was certainly sparked and combined with Book Week, last week was an enjoyable week for all!
