Aussie Footy (Grades 5 and 6)

The Aussie Footy Program continues this Wednesday night with an away game against Our Lady Help of Christians. This will be the last week of Aussie Footy for the term and thank you to the children and parents who have supported the program.

Final preparations for Winter Sports

The Winter Sports Finals are on this coming Thursday 6th June. Congratulations to all students participating. Final preparations will be made this week. Again, please check the timetable outside E4 to see when teams will be training. Special thanks to the following coaches for their time spent training the children: Football - Matthew McMillan, Netball - Louise Chow and India Thomas, Soccer - Jeff Vizon and Michael Gray and Tee Ball - Michelle Nicolson.

We wish all our teams the very best of luck on the day.

Please note: Parents will be able to purchase tea and coffee and toasties from the school canteen located in the hall for all competitions held at St Joseph’s School on Thursday.

Football Training on the Ovals

Thank you to all students who brought long pants and long sleeve tops to school and boots for footy practice sessions on Friday. Students must bring a bag with these items to participate in any further sessions throughout the term.

Children are also to be reminded that under no circumstances are they allowed to wear their footy gear and boots into the senior building after practice or lunchtime, they are to be left outside the building on the deck so that the rooms stay clean during the winter months.

St Joseph’s Sports Uniforms

We are still wanting students to return their St Joseph’s polos and athletics tops for our upcoming competitions this Thursday. If you have them at home please return them to the office or E4, Thanks.
