Introducing Emily Lloyd

My first job as a School teacher was a Year 4 class at Ballarat Grammar Junior School.  I also coached a senior rowing crew that year.  Then I decided to work in Japan, where I ate far too much sushi and I tried to squeeze into tiny Japanese shoes! 

When I returned to Australia I taught Year 5/6 and P.E at St Anne’s Primary School in Melbourne before moving to the West and teaching at a school in Perth where they preferred Soccer over AFL.  A strange situation for this Victorian teacher!  I then taught a Year 5 class at Girton Grammar School in Bendigo, before getting married and having my three 3 children.

We moved home to Warrnambool for my kids to start school and I gained the opportunity to teach in the Library.  My passion for books and sharing stories came alive!
