PRINCIPAL'S MESSAGE
Matthew O'Brien, Principal
Dear Parents, Guardians, Staff, Students and the wider St. Joseph’s Primary School Community,
Staffing
In 2022 we will welcome three trainees to our school. Zoe Richie, Layla Monk and Kayne Brereton will join our staff for their Gap Year having completed their VCE this year. Layla and Kayne are past pupils of St Joseph’s and still have siblings here. These three young staff members will support all of our programs, in particular the Arts, PE and our Foundation classes. We are looking forward to welcoming them to St Joseph's and having them share their skills and enthusiasm with our students.
Assembly
Parents, carers and visitors are welcome to attend our final assembly on Tuesday 14th December at 12:00 noon. This is an important event for our school community where we are able to celebrate our year together, farewell our graduating students, farewell our staff who are moving on and thank all those who have contributed so generously to the life of the school this year. Vaccination status will be checked on arrival.
Year Six Graduation Mass
This Thursday evening our Year Six students will celebrate their graduation with mass and a further celebration at The Flying Horse. We congratulate all of these children as they move from primary school into the challenges and opportunities of secondary school. We look forward to watching their progress as their gifts, talents and interests take them on their many and varied pathways. Wherever they go in this world, we are confident that their presence will be positive.
