Cross Country 2019

A big thank you to the students who participated in the School House Cross Country. Also special thanks to staff, parents and grandparents and the broader school community who turned out in the cool blustery weather to support the event.  A special thanks to those parents who offered their support as marshalls and helped out on the day.

Below is a list of all the 1st, 2nd and 3rd Placegetters on the day.  We wish all the students who have qualified for the District Competition this Friday the best of luck. Notes will go out when the team has been finalised. A reminder that parents are asked to phone the school office if they take their child home directly from Cross Country rather than the child returning to school on the bus.

Finally, congratulations to Gold House who just pipped Blue house by six points in the House Trophy in a very tight finish.  

District Golf Finals

A team of 18 students represented our school in the District Golf Day last Friday.

A big thank you to Mrs Saywell for training the kids and being a great coach on the day.  Also thank you to Chris Crabbe for his expert tips and Jo Millard and the Warrnambool Golf Club for organising the event.  

The team played really well and we have three students; Joseph Brown, Sam Marris and Olivia Porter who have qualified for the next round later in the Year.  A great achievement. Well Done.

Aussie Footy (Grades 5 and 6)

Our first game of the Aussie Footy Program was played on Wednesday night.  

We played Warrnambool Primary School in a great contest.  Well done to all the boys and girls that participated and displayed great sportsmanship on the night.  

This Wednesday all players can participate in an Intra-school match between each other on the Junior Oval to practice for the upcoming Winter Sports.  We will commence at 3:45pm and finish at 4:45pm. Parents are welcome to watch and support our teams throughout the program.
