If we can't be playing competitive sport at the moment, I am sure glad we are able to watch it, constantly, at the Olympics!  How amazing are the variety of sports, the immense talent and the camaraderie that is demonstrated at these events, despite their different cultural backgrounds!

 I still have limited information regarding our scheduled inter-school sporting competitions. Girls Football that was scheduled for Thursday 29th July will be postponed until later in the term.  Most events rely on the dates set for the State competition and therefore the Regional competitions need time to be pushed back too. This may result in some events like our Winter Sports and Hockey being cancelled. 

At this stage:

• Hooptime basketball dates will remain the same
• Volleyball will moved to Thursday 2nd September
• We still hope to hold the AFL 9's competition for our Year 4 students too!  Fingers crossed!
