I share these thoughts for Mother’s Day and hope all our mothers and carers were looked after yesterday. No-one was more excited than our eager shoppers at the Mother’s Day Stall last week, judging by the looks on their faces and the plans they had to keep the present a secret. Just a couple of notes to get us started this week.

Naplan 2021 gets under way this week for our students in Grade 3 and 5. Any student absent for any of these tests, Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday will be made up on Friday if possible.

School photos will be distributed to students to take home starting today.

A reminder of COVID restrictions still in place effecting parent participation onsite. We are still unable to have parents in classrooms or at assemblies until further notice.

Our preference is for parents to pick up children after school at the designated areas A-G Loop, H-M Queens road and N-Z at the tennis courts. Before making alternative arrangements, parents need to apply in writing by emailing cduyn@sjwarrnambool.catholic.edu.au  and wait for this to be confirmed. Unless urgent, daily changes due to weather will not be made.
