Victorian State Golf Finals
We wish Sam Marris, Joseph Brown and Olivia Porter all the best at their Primary Golf State Finals this Wednesday in Altona. We hope they play well and have a great day out!
3/4 Future Stars State Basketball Finals
We also wish all the best to our boys Grade 3/4 basketball team this Monday at Dandenong.
5/6 Boys and Girls State Basketball Finals
Our boys and girls competed in the State Basketball Finals and played outstanding basketball winning a number of games on the day.
The boys narrowly missed a place in the grand final winning two of their three games.
The girls won one game and were really competitive in their other matches.
It was a super effort by both teams and the standard of basketball and sportsmanship shown was a credit to all players and their families who supported our teams. Thank you to our cheer squad of travelling parents and Katie O’Keefe for her fantastic coaching throughout the competitions played.
Woolworths Cricket Blast Cup
Our Grade 5/6 Boys cricket teams went to Hamilton last Thursday to compete in the Regional Cricket Finals in hot and windy conditions. Our girls were narrowly defeated in their first game and went on to finish 2nd on the ladder after winning two of their remaining games. There were some great individual efforts in matches played and their sportsmanship was exemplary throughout the day.
The boys played a final against a very impressive team from Mortlake who had not been defeated all day and in a thriller got over the line to be victorious by eleven runs. Some great bowling and fielding sealed the victory in the final two overs of the game. They now will compete in the State Final at the Junction Oval in St Kilda on Monday 9th December.

The last day of school banking for the year will be Monday 9th December. Thanks to our wonderful school banking volunteer Eve Platt who is the grandmother of Zoe and Finn Davis.
Eve has been doing this volunteer job for the past few years and has indicated she is taking a break from it next year. If there are any parents who are interested in volunteering for this job then contact the office for more information.
Banking volunteering takes about 1 hour a week, can be done Monday-Thursday and has to be done at the school for security and privacy reasons. Office staff provide backup for weeks when the volunteer is unable to do the banking.
