Cross Country
Congratulations to all students who competed in the St. Joseph's cross country. I was thrilled that so many students exercised their physical and mental strength in what can be a difficult event for many. 37 students progressed to represent our school at District level last Friday, and a further 15 have progressed to Division level which will be held at Albert Park this Friday. Congratulations and good luck to our Cross Country team.
Athletics
Well done to all students who represented St. Josephs at the Division athletics on 5th May. It was great to see our students cheering on their school mates, as well as also showing a great level of sportsmanship when congratulating students from other schools around our division.
Winter Sports
Winter sports is fast approaching, with the district competition to be held on Friday 2nd June. We will send a boys football team, a girls netball team, a mixed tee ball team, and a mixed soccer team. Girls football will also take place on Thursday 8th of June.
The first boys football trial will be held this Thursday 18th May, with trials for other sports to be announced shortly.

We continue to highlight the Resilience, Rights and Respectful Relationships (RRRR) curriculum so you are able to understand the topics that are covered.
We include an example of an activity for a particular year level so you can see how the topics aim to build on knowledge over time as students mature and develop their social and emotional learning. There are 8 topics in the learning materials.
