At this stage every second newsletter will feature a Principal's report and news from our staff in the areas of Literacy, Numeracy, Religion, Library and Wellbeing. The alternate week will feature upcoming school and community reminders for that week.

A Prayer for our Reconciliation Candidates
Loving God help us to teach our children that you love us totally and unconditionally. Help us to encourage our children to grow in love and to learn how to say sorry, knowing that you always forgive. Give us the courage to pray with our children and to share our faith with them as we journey together. We ask this through Christ our Lord.
Amen
Australian Catholics Autumn 2019
Coming home with the eldest in your family this week is the Autumn 2019 edition of the publication Australian Catholics.
Parent Social Evening - All Welcome
7:00 pm, Friday 1st March, 2019
An invitation is extended to all parents and guardians to attend a gathering at the start of the new school year. It provides a great opportunity to meet new families and catch up and rekindle friendships.
Purchase drinks at bar prices, light finger food provided.
Venue: The Cally Hotel (Front Bar) Fairy Street Warrnambool.
Parents are invited to participate in a Community Conversation process. Community Conversations is a forum that seeks to listen, understand and explore what is important to the school community.
We were planning to do this Community Conversation as a parent evening but as we have had a small number of registrations we are going to change how this process will work.
Students and staff will still participate on Tuesday 5th March, 2019. We will invite parents to contribute via an electronic form which will be published in a future newsletter.
With many new families joining our school it is timely to refer all parents to our "Getting to School Safely" webpage.
Coming home this week to Foundation, Grade 1 and Grade 2 students is an information pack for School Banking.
Our Banking day is Monday. Children place their banking into the yellow tub at the office before school. Amounts banked generally range from 50c through to $10. The banking is processed by our grandparent volunteer and returned to the classroom mid week.
The school PSA receives a commission based on the total amount of banking each term. Children learn the value of savings and also receive reward items when they have banked 10 times.
Contact the office with any queries or to obtain spare copies of the information pack.
